BP Lipid 150 is an ionizable amino lipid with both ester linkages located at C8 and C6 position relative to nitrogen amine. There is 9 carbons chain on the primary ester lipid tail. The secondary ester is introduced to improve protein expression. The lipid head contains propanolamine which can effectively encapsulate mRNA for gene therapies. BP Lipid 150, an analog of SM-102, can be used to investigate and enhance the functional properties in lipid nanoparticle formulations. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
