BP Lipid 138 is an ionizable amine lipid with propanolamine head for efficient mRNA encapsulation. The lipid has two ester linkages at C6 and C7 position. The C6 ester has a 9 carbons lipid tail. The lipid can be used for mRNA-based therapies which depends on the availability of a safe and efficient delivery vehicle. BP Lipid 138, an analog of SM-102, can be used to investigate and enhance the functional properties in lipid nanoparticle formulations. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
