Gambogic acid

Gambogic acid

Gambogic acid is a natural product isolated from the resin of Garcinia hurburyi tree, Gambogic acid is a potent apoptosis inducer. It binds covalently to the regulatory subunit B (SPTSSB) of the serine palmitoyltransferase complex and inhibits de novo sphingolipid biosynthesis.
