Azide linkers are a class of click chemistry reagents containing an azide group. They can undergo copper-catalyzed azide–alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) with alkyne-containing molecules, as well as strain-promoted alkyne–azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups. As such, they are widely used in antibody–drug conjugates (ADCs), biolabeling, and functional materials construction.
