FO-32 is an ionizable cationic lipid (pKa = 6.36) that has been used in the generation of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for the delivery of mRNA in vivo. Intranasal administration of LNPs containing FO-32 and encapsulating reporter mRNA accumulate in nasal epithelial tissue and lungs in mice.
