BP Fluor 647-PEG4-Maleimide represents a PEGylated dye comprised of BP Fluor 647, which is a bright green-fluorescent dye optimal for use with the 633, 650 nm Argon laser. The dye is water-soluble and pH-insensitive from pH 4 to pH 10. The dye has 4 sulfonate groups to make it very water soluble and less aggregating in the aqueous solution. The free maleimide can conjugate with thiols. With this reagent, BP Fluor 647 can be attached to nearly any cysteine-bearing molecule.
