Methyltetrazine-PEG4-Amide-Tri(PEG10-Propargyl) methane is a click chemistry branched PEG linker. It contains one methyltetrazine moiety and three propargyl groups. The methyltetrazine group reacts rapidly and selectively with TCO via an inverse electron-demand Diels–Alder reaction, while the propargyl groups can undergo copper-catalyzed azide–alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) with azide-containing molecules. The PEG chains enhance aqueous solubility and provide flexibility for bioconjugation.
