Calicheamicin
Calicheamicin is an antitumor antibiotic that causes double-strand DNA breaks by inhibiting DNA synthesis. It contains an alkyne group, enabling copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc). Derived from M. echinospora, its warhead induces DNA scission, making it effective in targeted cancer therapy. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
