BP Lipid 553

BP Lipid 553

BP Lipid 553 is a novel IAJD93 analog designed to mimic archeal lipids by the introduction of three multimethyl branched ether lipid tails. These structural motifs have been known to modulate membrane fluidity and similar isoprenoid lipid CARTs have proven to be effective mRNA delivery platforms (Biomacromolecules 2024, 25, 7, 4305–4316). The presence of a multichargeable 3-hydroxyazetidine head group linked via a biodegradable ester bond may further enhance functionality. This compound may be used in lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulations for drug or mRNA delivery applications.
