BP Lipid 545

BP Lipid 545

BP Lipid 545 is a novel IAJD93 analog designed to mimic archeal lipids by the introduction of three multimethyl branched ether lipid tails. These structural motifs have been known to modulate membrane fluidity and similar isoprenoid lipid CARTs have proven to be effective mRNA delivery platforms (Biomacromolecules 2024, 25, 7, 4305–4316). The presence of a multichargeable methylpiperazine head group may further enhance functionality. This compound may be used in lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulations for drug or mRNA delivery applications.
