BP Lipid 529
BP Lipid 529 is a novel TCL053 analog designed to mimic archeal lipids by the introduction of three multimethyl branched lipid tails linked via biodegradable ester bonds. These structural motifs have been known to modulate membrane fluidity and similar isoprenoid lipid CARTs have proven to be effective mRNA delivery platforms (Biomacromolecules 2024, 25, 7, 4305–4316). The presence of a highly functional 2-hydroxyethyl piperazine head group is designed to further accentuate the utility of this compound in lipid nanoparticles (LNPs).
