BP Lipid 525 is a novel TCL053 analog designed to mimic archeal lipids by the introduction of three multi- methyl branched lipid tails linked via biodegradable ester bonds. These structural motifs have been known to modulate membrane fluidity and similar isoprenoid lipid CARTs have proven to be effective mRNA delivery platforms (Biomacromolecules 2024, 25, 7, 4305–4316). The presence of a pyrrolidine ionizable head group may further enhance functionality.
