BAmP-O16B is an ionizable cationic amino lipid employed in the creation of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs). LNPs formulated with BAmP-O16B and encapsulating NSA-inactivated RNase A selectively reduce the viability of SiHa and HeLa cancer cells, while sparing non-cancerous NIH3T3 and HEK293T cells. This selective cytotoxicity occurs upon intracellular reactivation of RNase A by glutathione (GSH).
