119-23 is an ionizable lipid used to create lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for mRNA delivery in vivo. LNPs with 119-23 show enhanced transfection efficiency and greater accumulation in hepatic and splenic immune cells compared to SM-102 and DLin-MC3-DMA, increasing serum erythropoietin levels in mice.
