BP Fluor 800 DBCO is a conceptually new class of sterically shielded NIR cyanine heptamethine dye with emission wavelengths >740 nm. BP Fluor 680 DBCO is comparable to Alexa Fluor 680 DBCO. This dye contains two shielding PEG arms directly over both faces of the heptamethine fluorochrome blocking any undesired bimolecular association processes, resulting in a significant increase in fluorescence brightness. BP Fluor 800 DBCO is a popular labeling dye used in copper-free Click Chemistry reactions and reacts with the azide group in antibody, proteins, peptides, amino-modified oligos, and other target molecules.
