BDP 581/591 tetrazine is a borondipyrromethene dye with a terminal tetrazine group. It has relatively long fluorescence lifetime, two-photon cross sections, a high emission quantum yield and molar extinction coefficient. The terminal methyltetrazine enables fast click reaction with TCO (trans-cycloctene).
