IR 650 Maleimide is a fluroescent molecule with a terminal maleimide group. It is a hydrophilic, water-soluble, far-red fluorescent dye that has a maximal absorption of 651 nm and emission at 668 nm. The maleimide group will react with a thiol group to form a covalent bond.
