PLGA(10k)-PEG(5k)-N3 is a micelles-forming block copolymer with poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) as a hydrophobic segment and PEG as a hydrophilic block. The terminal azide of the polymer is reactive with cyclooctyne, such as DBCO/BCN, to form a stable triazole bond via SPAAC. Additionally, the polymer can also react with a terminal alkyne in the presence of copper catalyst via CuAAC. This class of polymer can be used to encapsulate drugs for nanomedicine and targeted drug delivery. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
