Azidoethyl-SS-propionic acid is a Click Chemistry-ready crosslinker. The azide group enables Click Chemistry. The terminal carboxylic acid can be reacted with primary amine groups in the presence of activators (e.g. EDC, or HATU) to form a stable amide bond.
