PC DBCO-PEG4-NHS ester
PC DBCO-PEG4-NHS ester is a photocleavable PEG linker consisting of a DBCO group, a PEG spacer, a photocleavable ring, and an NHS carbonate. DBCO is a click chemistry handle which easily reacts with azides to form triazoles with a target molecule. The NHS carbonate is a leaving group which is easily displaced by amines to form carbamates. Biomolecules labeled with this compound can be efficiently released using near UV light at a low intensity (e.g. 365 nm at 1-5 mW/cm2).
