Methyltetrazine MagBeads

Superparamagnetic particles that can be used for biomolecule separation, imaging and diagnostic application. BroadPharm provides Methyltetrazine group functionalized magnetic nanoparticles with diameter in ~160 nm. The surface groups allow covalent bond formation with the TCO (trans-cycloctene) group grafted in antibodies, proteins, peptides, oligonucleotides or other biomolecules via TCO-Tetrazine click chemistry. The TCO-Tetrazine click chemistry is the 3rd generation click chemistry that is widely used in labeling and bioconjugation due to its fast speed and high selectivity. The reaction between TCO and Tetrazine moiety is an inverse electron demand Diels Alder (IEDDA) reaction followed by a retro-DA reaction to eliminate nitrogen. Both TCO and Tetrazine moieties are stable in various physiological conditions. With large surface area, excellent colloidal stability and unique surface coating, the functionalized MagBeads exhibit high binding capacity and low non-specific binding of protein or nucleic acids. The functionalized MagBeads are suitable for bioimaging, magnetic separation of specific cellular, protein, bacterial, RNA/DNA and other biomolecules. This product is for Research Use Only.
