Maleimide MagBeads Conjugation Kit

BroadPharm’s Maleimide MagBeads conjugation kits are now available in an easy-to-use kit format to enable researchers to conjugate antibodies, proteins, peptides, oligonucleotides or other biomolecules of their own choice to the surface of MagBeads through maleimide-thiol Michael addition reaction. With large surface area, excellent colloidal stability and unique surface coating, the resulting conjugates exhibit high binding capacity and low non-specific binding. The kit contains sufficient reagents & components for performing at least 4 conjugation reactions. Briefly, the amine MagBeads are converted to maleimide MagBeads using our Maleimide-PEG4-NHS ester linker (Scheme 1). Then, the fresh Maleimide MagBeads are ready to conjugate with thiol groups that are present on the target biomolecules. The recommended protocol has been used to successfully conjugate bovine serum albumin, streptavidin, Protein A/G and immunoglobulin (IgG) to this MagBeads. This product is for Research Use Only.
