Protein A and protein G bind with IgG very tightly. Mixing drug conjugated protein A or drug conjugated protein G with antibodies form antibody-protein A- drug or antibody-protein G-drug complex. The complex gets into the cells in cell cytotoxic assay when the antibody binds with antigen on the cell surface.
